IIC Committee Members
The president of the IIC- Professor Louis P. F. Smith is Emeritus Professor of Economics (International Trade) and was Economic and Banking Consultant of Allied Irish Banks, the largest bank in Ireland, to the National Farmers Association and other bodies. He was Chairman of the Irish Council of the European Movement and of the Irish Council for Overseas Students. He is author of Evolution of Agricultural Co-operation, Basil Blackwell, Oxford-1961, Elementary Economics (with Dr. Norton), U.C.D. Folens 1963, with various other articles in and books on socio-economic developments in Europe. Professor Smith's determination is to broaden economic and cultural relations between two countries.

The Chairman of the IIC is Mr. F. G. Cassidy, Charted Accountant by profession and owner of an accountancy firm running its offices in Dublin and other major cities in the Ireland. Mr. Cassidy is a devoted person for the economic and cultural relations between Ireland and India.
Vice President (Ireland) is Mr. Patrick Dillon Malone. His qualifications are in European Law. Patrick is fluent in German, French, Spanish and Italian. He is practicing Barrister since 1993.
Vice President (India) is Ms. Aparna Bajpai, former Associate Professor of obstetrics in Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Gwalior, M. P. India. Presently she is providing her services in the field of Maternal and Child Health at N.M.H. Dublin. Ms. Bajpai also worked for UNICEF in developing their modules in India. She has conducted and performed various stage shows . She is highly motivated in promotion and exchange of the culture between Ireland and India.
The Director of the organisation is Mr. Prashant Shukla, his qualifications are in International Law & Diplomacy, Developmental Studies, and Business. Prashant holds degree in Science and a fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar. Prashant has arranged and participated in international and national conferences and chaired sessions related to his profession. Mr. Shukla is a one of the founding member of the IIC and Director of the Council since September, 2005. Prashant is also partner of the East West Corporation, it is company doing business in Health and Medical Tourism and facilitating European companies in their operations in India
It is Prashant’s perspective that the continuing development of the individual is integral to the effectiveness of organisations and their ability to continue to anticipate, evolve, and meet the changing requirements of the global economy.
Mr. Jai Prakash is Community Support Officer of IIC since January, 2006. He is MBA from LJM University. His qualification includes B.Com from Delhi University and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from HETAC. During his higher studies he was member of National Cadet Corps (NCC) along with National Social Service (NSS), he passed three examinations A,B &C of the NCC. Now he is working as General Secretary in Non Profit Organization Shri Shiv Shakti Kalyan Sewa Sangh. Mr. Jai has good interpersonal skills; he is interacting freely among the multicultural communitie
Mr. Aditya Arya is Students Support Officer of the Council since October 2008. Mr Arya holds degrees in MSc in Computing Sciences and also MBA from IP University of India. He worked as Assistant Manager for Kotak Mahendra Bank in India. He was elected President of his college in 2006. He has great zeal and enthusiasm to constructively engage for students rights.
